Anne's Deviled Chicken Wings and Variations

  3             pounds  chicken wings
     2/3           cup  butter -- melted
  1           teaspoon  paprika
  1           teaspoon  salt
  1 1/2      teaspoons  dry mustard
  1           teaspoon  chili powder
     1/4      teaspoon  cayenne pepper -- or to taste

Cut chicken wings into joints, keeping wing tips for stock.  Preheat oven
to 350.

Combine spices.  Dip chicken pieces in butter and place in baking pan.
Sprinkle evenly with dry spices.

Bake at 350 for one hour or until wings are just cooked through.

        powder and cayenne.
