Anne's Gorgonzola Cube Steaks or Chicken

cube steaks
4 tablespoons lemon juice

cup gorgonzola cheese -- crumbled
1/2
cup olive tapenade
4
slices provolone cheese
2 teaspoons
italian seasoning
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Heat large ovenproof skillet over medium high
heat. If desired, sprinkle cube steaks with meat tenderizer.
Brown cube steaks on both sides in skillet, then remove from heat. Drain
any liquid from skillet and return cube steaks to skillet.
Sprinkle each cube steak with lemon juice and italian seasoning. Divide
gorgonzola cheese and olive tapenade between the four cube steaks. Top
each
steak with a slice of provolone cheese.
Place skillet in preheated oven until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 10
minutes. Serve hot.
