Basic Spaghetti Squash

  1                     spaghetti squash

Preheat oven to 350.  Cut squash in half lengthwise (difficult!).  Scrape
out seeds and stringy pulp, also difficult. 

Wrap squash in aluminum foil and bake in oven for 90 minutes.  Using a
fork, scrape out the strands of "spaghetti".

NOTES : I didn't like the results with microwaving.
       
        The strands are nicely crunchy and have a slightly sweet squash
        flavor.  It's wonderful with butter, cinnamon and Splenda
        or butter and parmesan cheese.
